$5 for 2 pairs of Boots!

Hey guys - am about to go to bed but had to tell you this story about today! Basically it didn't snow last night so being snow snobs we decided "why bother snowboarding as there is no fresh powder". So we decide to go into town to try and look for hiking boots to assist us in our snowshoeing adventures. We wander into the Columbia store (for the uninitiated, Columbia is a renowned brand of outdoor gear) and find some decent hiking boots to buy. Total is about USD$180. Anyways, just before we pay, one of the staff members comes up to us and asks if we were interested in attending this 2 hour tour of this new resort. If we said yes we would be given USD$175 worth of gift vouchers towards our purchase! In effect our boots would cost us $5!! I was like "Hell yeah"! For a 2 hour tour I would have cleaned their toilet......

So we go on the tour and we get our $5 boots! God bless America - the land of the free and super bargains....I had to take a picture of our new boots. No prizes for guessing which ones are mine and which ones are Josies ;-)
