5-6 inches and a pass to come....

Hey all - a picture of our verandah railing indicating how much snow has fallen. Thats about 5-6 inches on the railing :-) If there is this much at our place, imagine how much has fallen on the peaks *drool*!!!


We are off to buy our season passes tomorrow. Strangely we actually have to go to Denver to buy it - we can buy a season pass in Breck, however there is some special offer going on allowing us to access more ski areas - the trick being its only available in a store in Denver this weekend only. Given its $80 for a day pass here and a season pass is under $500, you can understand why we decided to wait :-)

Ohh another thing which we found interesting - it takes a long time to cook things here! I guess because we are almost 3km above sea level, there is not as much oxygen to cook stuff - given its easier to get out of breath, its kidna makes sense!
